The effect of follow-up through multimedia on communication skills with patients in nurses working in Dr.Chamran hospital in Shiraz, 2017
Design
This experimental study is a two-group design with pre and post design and two groups. The research environment is Dr. Chamran Hospital in Shiraz is considered to be the nurses working in there as the orthopedic wards under study. In this research, nurses are selected and available in two groups.
Settings and conduct
After collecting the referral form of the research environment and obtaining informed consent from the units studied, Barton J's communication skills questionnaire (1990) was completed to measure communication skills in both groups.Nurses were randomly assigned to two groups (A) receiving a multimedia CD without follow up and Group B (Multimedia CD Recipient with Telegram follow up group).
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: employment in one of the hospital departments; having at least a bachelor's degree in nursing; having at least one year of postgraduate clinical work experience; a smartphone with telegram installation; no disease and use of medications; anti-anxiety drugs. Exclusion criterion: unwillingness to continue cooperation.
Intervention groups
Follow up by forming a telegram group and discussing and fixing bug group "B" four weeks after multimedia training.

Description
Intervention: Follow up via telegram, which is then done in the intervention group: After completing the standard BartonJE communication skills questionnaire, the educational content CD will be provided to the intervention group. Participants are required to see the CD at least once, and will be invited to the Telegram four weeks later. The purpose of the Telegram group is to follow the materials learned through the content file and discussion and experiences of the members under the supervision of Dr.M. Zolfaghari and Mrs. Sharareh Lahouti is a psychologist. The group is working for one month, and then the BartonJE communication skills questionnaire will be completed by the participants. (To prevent the exposure of the two groups, group A sampling and multicast delivery Media is done four weeks earlier than Group B.
