The impact of the nosocomial control general standards education on knowledge, attitude and nurses adherence in the ICUs of Medical Educational Centers of Hamadan University of Medical Science
Aim: Determination of impact of the nosocomial control general standards education on knowledge, attitude and nurses adherence in the ICUs of Medical Educational Centers of Hamadan University of Medical Sciences.
Inclusion criteria: nurses who work at ICU wards as official or on contract or human power design. They can participate in education program of research.
Exclusion criteria: nurses who deliver education but could not cooperate for long illness, long permission, transferring and etc.
Sample size: about 59 ones(20 ones for test group+39 ones for control group)
Intervention: by drawing lost, nurses of one of hospitals ICU ward are considered as test group and another hospital nurses as control group. In each of groups, in both stages of before or after intervention, knowledge, attitude and nurses are considered by questionnaire, the there stage nurses' attitude in respecting general standards of nosocomial control is under investigation observing check list.To avoid any error in entering data some people not concerned in research are getting taught by observation and they will be asked to do the observation.
Type of intervention: attending workshops for re-education of nosocomial control general standards(5 work shop in small groups for the nurses according to their shifts)will held on theoretic and practical form in the concerning ward in nurses'need.Also some posters and theaching pamphlets will be provided and they will be delivered those packets.
Intervention time: about one month.
Cosequences:promotion of knowledge, attitude and nurses adherence in nosocomial control general standards in test group after intervention.
