objectives: Determine the effect of interventions based on the theory of planned behavior on correct body posture of the operating room nurses .
Design: randomized controlled trial .
setting and conduct:REBA(observational checklist) and TPB constructs(self report questionnaire) were assessed using reliable and valid scales. The experimental group received the intervention based on TPB constructs, and control group did not receive any intervention by researcher. Pre test and 3 month after intervention post test was performed.
participants including major eligibility criteria: 100 operational nurses in two groups(50 experimental group and 50 control group )that there are not history of lumber surgery and not at present Pregnancy as well as Absence of chronic lower back pain and employee over 6 months in the operating room are employed in the study.
intervention:Five sessions of lecture and group discussion with educational pamphlets and posters emphasizing the promotion of the constructs of the theory of planned behavior.
main outcome:The body posture during work (ergonomics) and the status of the constructs of the theory of planned behavior
