This study aimed to evaluate the effect of movement exercises with music on motor proficiencies of 7-14 aged autistic children. This clinical trial have control group and aimed to treat autistic children in autism charity. Inclusion criteria: Autism disorder diagnosed by a child psychiatrist; lower functional level based on Autism screening scale questionnaire (ASSQ); chronological age between 7 and 14 years old; normal or corrected vision and hearing senses by means the auditory registers with normal hearing (not hyper sensitive to noise nor hypo sensitivity) based on sensory profile questionnaire; lack of orthopedic and cardiopulmonary disorders; no seizure attacks in the last two years; not taking drug with effects on motor. Exclusion criteria: the absence of more than two sessions during the intervention and any changes in medical diet due to motor signs or change in alertness. Sample size is 22 autistic children. Study intervention is 24 sessions of music therapy as a 3-week sessions, each session lasting 45 minutes during the 8-week. At the end of the treatment motor assessment is performed. In music group movement exercises performed with music and play musical instruments and in control group without any musical element.
