Comparison of the effects of maternal supportive care and acupressure (point BL32) in labor on fetal heart rate pattern and nucleated red blood cells in the umbilical cord blood of pregnant women admitted to shooshtari hospital in Shiraz 2012
This study is a randomized clinical trial was performed on 150 pregnant women admitted to hospital conducted and compared the impact of supportive care for mother and acupressure (the 32BL) in labor Fetal heart rate pattern and the number of red blood cell nucleated cord blood Babies. After obtaining informed consent, eligible women randomly assigned to three groups are the (two intervention groups and a control group.) In three groups of tests for assessing anxiety Spielberger (STAI) is used. fetal heart rate during labor check with Sony kit, after taking blood from the umbilical cord and send, the results to be recorded.

Inclusion/Exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 41-37 weeks gestational age based on last menstrual period or ultrasound last quarter of the first and second; maternal age 18-35 years old; single pregnancy; cephalic presentation and the lack of obvious chromosomal abnormalities and fetal congenital absence of specific drugs during pregnancy; at least a third of literacy; an Iranian citizen; willing to participate in the study and signed a written consent.
Exclusion criteria: preterm; maternal diabetes; fetal growth restriction; incompatibility RH; history the smoking of tobacco by maternal, hypertension, preeclampsia, oligohydramnios, placenta previa, placental abruption, thick meconium; either physically or mentally ill mother, received any medication such as pethidine, hyoscine, and atropine oxytocin.

Description
The first intervention, group: Researcher as doula from the beginning to the side of mother, encourages her, Mother are in appropriate positions in the different stages of labor. Positions chosen so that the conditions for the mother to prevent boredom and monotony.

The second intervention: Acupressure group, The 3-4 and 7-8 cm dilation of mother in the proper position 32BL uniform pressure for 20 minutes during contraction (Starting with the pressure of the contractions start and end point shrinkage of pressure on this point is removed) by both thumbs gently, consistently and fairly "deep is pressed.
