comparing the effect of direct and indirect education of parents of children with ADHD on their attitudes about medication, treatment satisfaction, and medication compliance
regarding the importance of medication treatment in ADHD and negative attitudes in community about these medications, this clinical trial study is performed to compare the effect of two methods of group attendance and nonattendance education on changing parent attitudes about medication, treatment satisfaction, and medication compliance.60 parents of parents of children with ADHD attending child psychiatry clinic in shahrekord are randomly assigned to group education or education with a booklet and compared before and one month after the education.

inclusion criteria:parents of children with ADHD attending to child psychiatry clinic for medication treatment during the past 6 months. minimum education of parents was considerd fifth grade of primary school.
exclusion criteria: parents of children with developmental disorders such as mental retardation and autism or significant sensory impairments.
