Comparing the effect of teaching preventive behaviors of home injuries by multimedia and text messages on knowledge, attitude and performance of mothers with children up to 5 year old, Referred to health centers in Bushehr city.
The main objective of this study is to compare the effect of teaching preventive behaviors of home injuries in two ways: multimedia and text messages on knowledge, performance and attitudes of mothers who has children up to 5 year old Referred to Bushehr health centers.The main criterion for inclusion in the study, mothers of children up to 5 years old. Exclusion criteria include Mothers with mental health problems and reluctance of mothers to participate in research. Participants in the study are randomly divided into two intervention groups . The samples consisted of 100 mothers of children 1 to 5 year in which randomly divided into two groups 50 member intervention.At the beginning of the intervention, both groups used a pre-test. in a group, educational intervention included educational CD containing the preventive behaviors of home injuries to the mother. In another group, intervention includes two SMS containing preventive behaviors of home injuries during 10 days.Immediately after the intervention and one month after intervention, both groups will be taken after the post test . Expected outcomes of this study is to promote knowledge, attitude and practice of mothers in the home injuries prevention.

Intervention group2: Before the intervention, a pre-test will be the mother about home injuries to children.This group of mothers every day for 10 days, daily two video messages about home injuries to be sent and after 10 days it will be tested and after a month we test them again .
