Efficacy of implementing a training program on management of elderly common problems on level of job stress in caregivers of nursing homes, Golestan province, 2012
Objectives: With increasing population of aged people and their problems, the need to provide health care services in nursing homes is increasing. The aim of this study is to determine the effects of receiving educational package of "Management of Elderly Common Problems" on the levels of job stress in caregivers of the Golestan province nursing homes.
Design: This study will be a semi-experimental interventional study.
Setting and Conduct: All the caregivers working in the Golestan province nursing homes will select by census method and participate in this study.
Interventions: Intervention will include training the caregivers, using an educational package designed by researchers with the purpose of increasing their knowledge and skills about the management of old age problems.
Main Outcome Variables: Questionnairs will be complete before training, immediately after, one month, and three months after the training. The main outcome variable is caregiver's job stress.

Entry criteria:
Caregivers who have been working in Golestan province nursing homes;
Be able to read and write;
Minimum of work is three hours a day three days a week;
At least three months work in long-term care facilities;
Announce their informed consent to participate in research.
Exclusion criteria:
Not participate in two sessions;
Failure to complete the questionnaires;
Stop working in nursing home for any reason;
Relinquishment from cooperation in the study
