In this study the effect of Vitamin A in the treatment of idiopathic persistent microscopic hematuria in children. All patients with persistent idiopathic microscopic hematuria aged 5 to 12 years old who are enrolled in Amir Kabir Hospital, Arak, Iran. Patients were randomly divided into two groups of equal number. The first group (76 patients) take, vitamin A is in a pearl of two kinds. The total duration of treatment is 14 days and the control group (76 cases) without informing the recipients of vitamin A is necessary explanations. Profile of each patient individually by the Executive are recorded in special forms. All children from 5 to 12 years with idiopathic microscopic hematuria diagnosed by the Executive have been included in this study. Patients with renal anomalies, use of other medications and cause hematuria identified during the survey are excluded.

Inclusion/Exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: all children aged between 5 to 12 years old with idiopathic microscopic hematuria diagnosed by the Executive consistently been the cause of hematuria was found during the survey.
Exclusion criteria: all patients whose parents did not agree to participate; patients with renal anomalies; the use of certain drugs cause hematuria within 4 reviews
