Comparative Study of pain rate in buccal infiltration with Mepivacaine and Articaine with epinephrine injection in upper premolars region in patients that refer to the surgical department of dental school
This study will be done with aim to comparative study of pain rate in buccal infiltration with Mepivacaine and Articaine with epinephrine injection in upper premolars region. This study is a single blind clinical trial, only the researcher knows which injection is done in what part of the jaw and blinding is for patients. A total of 30 patients that will admitted to the surgical department of dental School of Kermanshah will be selected as samples in available method and will assigned in experimental group of 30 persons. In the experimental group two injections for each person will be done in two-sided (upper right jaw and upper left jaw) and tandem,
One injection contain Mepivacaine and one injection contain of Articaine with epinephrine. During the injection and in 5, 15, 30 and 45 seconds, the amount of pain by visual analogue scale on each side will measure and the pain of two sides will compare.
Inclusion criteria: lack of sensitivity to inject; lack of sensitivity to Mepivacaine and Articaine; no pregnancy for women Exclusion criteria: Unbearable pain
