This study is a clinical trial to valuate the effect of education on health belief model to promote preventive behaviors of urinary tract infection in pregnant women. The sample of 140 pregnant women referred to health centers - Care Bushehr city at 10-18 weeks of gestation are represented., Samples from 8 - health centers in Bushehr city selected. 4 clinics were randomly assigned to a control group and4 clinic groups. Case studies education, preventive behaviors UTI based on the health belief model in the form of lectures and group discussions for pregnant women during two sessions of 1 hour. Education through the distribution of educational booklets were completed. The data collection tool was a questionnaire based on the health belief model in three stages (before training, after training 2 sessions and 3 months after training) was completed by intervention group. In the control group, after the completion of the first phase of the questionnaire booklet was placed at their disposal and they also stage 3 (before distribution of the booklet, 2 weeks and 3 months after distribution of the manual) completed the questionnaire.Urine test both before and 3 months after the study was to examine.
