Assessing the impact of effective communication teaching on improving the nursing students communication skills through role paying in clinical situations
This study examines the impact of role playing as a new teaching methods and techniques particular social skills training on improve the communication skills of nursing students has been paid. This study is a randomized clinical trial of two group which affection of an independent factor (teaching effective communication with Method of role playing) on the dependent factor(communication skills of nursing students) were assessed.40 nursing students both Baqiyatallah and Tehran University of Medical Sciences during the first semester of study 92/93 were selected. Inclusion criteria 4th semester nursing students who had received a surgical training course And exclusion criteria are not in the absence of training. Collection tool of data was a questionnaire which tested five domains include: Start conscious verbal &nonverbal skill , the inner and outer harmony, respect for clients and unconditional acceptance. After performing the pretest of communication skills, The experiment group was taught using the role playing method and the students of control group had the Current and traditional training. After finishing the educational course, students' progress in communication skills in the two groups was compared.
