Comparative study on the effect of ethical decision making training in speech and group discussion method on moral reasoning, distress and sensitivity of nurses
This study aims to analyze the effect of ethical decision making training on ethical reasoning, distress and sensitivity of nurses. At first, all nurses with B.Sc. degree and at least one year work experience were included in the study based on consensus sampling. Later, at the second phase, 66 nurses that their ethical reasoning score is lower than society’s average score, were selected and divided in three groups (two test and one control groups) based on block random sampling, and trained in a group by speech and in another group with group discussion. At end, effectiveness of these trainings on ethical reasoning, distress and sensitivity of nurses was analyzed.
