The Goal of study was
determination of effect of family-oriented empowerment model on quality of life in Patients under Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery
inclusion criteria: coronary artery bypass graft surgery was done;Lack of hearing and vision problems;Lack of psychiatric or neurological problems;Having read and write at or above;Not living in elderly care homes
exclusion criteria :Not cooperate and refusing to participate in meetings;hospitalization ;Acute complications associated with surgery
The study was done on test and witness groups and before and after interference.
The study population consisted of patients who underwent coronary artery bypass graft .Samples consisted of patients who underwent coronary artery bypass graft from the beginning of Septembe2013 until the end of November .Due to attrition rate 50 samples were placed in two groups. The study was done in three stages.
interference is included the family-oriented empowerment model execution for test group. In the 1st stage, the study tool means the quality of life questionnaire was completed for all participators and in the 2nd stage, the family-oriented empowerment model was executed in 4 phases involves understanding the threat, problem solving, collaboration and evaluating for test group and in the 3rd stage, was included recompeleting the study tools to preview dependent variable means quality of life for both groups.
This pattern is expected to improve the quality of life in this patients .The findings were confirmed this and the implementation of the model compared to the control group had improved quality of life dimensions.

Description
The study is a semi-experimental research on test and witness groups and before and after interference.The samples were prepared as random in witness and test group and interference is included the family-oriented empowerment model execution for test group.
