The aim of this study is suicide prevention in two districts of Savojbolagh and Nahavand. The target is general population. The intervention components are: 1. capacity building included a) improvement of knowledge and skills of health staff, b) improvement of the drug treatment of the cases by general practitioners, c) improvement of referral system, d) improving registration system. 2. The intervention will be performed in the second year included a) active screening and case finding, b) drug treatment of the case, c) holding consulting sessions for the patients and their families. The main outcomes of the study is the rate of suicide and suicide attempt and the other outcomes are the rates of found depressed and addicted cases by the health network.

Description
