objective: The main objective of this work is to examine effect of family-centered orientation program on satisfaction level of the healthcare services, prevention of delirium prevalence, hemodynamic variables and length of stay in patients with coronary artery disease in cardiac care unit. Inclusion and Exclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria of patients :age35-80 ;MI or pectoral angina ;patient orientated and able to verbal contact ;stable of hemodynamic condition and relief of pain ;no history of hospitalization in ICU and CCU ;no signs of delirium in onset of admission ;no disrythmia threatener Exclusion criteria of patients: death of patient ;decrease of orientation level and unable to verbal contac ;dissatisfaction for participate Inclusion criteria of families:lettered ;german(near contact with patient) ;participating in caring of patient ;participating in whole of orientation program Exclusion criteria of families: dissatisfaction for participate Target sample and size: 80 inpatients from cardiac care unit Intervention and time: For test group, family-centered orientation program was performed while members of standard group received routine care services.time of sampling was last 3 months.this study was single blind. Out comes: delirium, Satisfaction, hemodynamic variables, length of stay

Description
intervention group:For test group, family-centered orientation program was performed with participation of family and by checklist and educational booklet. Time of onset for this program was determined after stabling of hemodynamic condition and pain relief of patient(2 -12 hours after admission).time of orientation program for patients last 40-60 minutes.
