This study aimed to assess the effect of a maternal role education program on role attainment and maternal role satisfaction in nulliparous women with unplanned pregnancy . 70 nulliparous women with an unplanned pregnancy will participate in this study. Inclusion criteria included nulliparous women، obtained from london questionnaire score to 3-0، Single fetus pregnancy، Gestational age was 33 weeks. Exclusion criteria preterm labor، Infant is sick and abnormal ،Admitted to neonatal intensive care unit for any reason during study .This study will conducted at 10 medical centers in the city of Mashhad, where the two center are similar social and economic randomly to the intervention group and another control group will receive. First، all participants will complete questionnaire (demographic، maternal role attainment, parenting sense of competence, stress, Kranly maternal-fetal attachment ). Intervention group will receive various education including Visualization of motherhood role، attachment to fetus and newborn،newborn care and breastfeeding in 34,35,36 weeks gestational age and before discharge hospital and and then every week to 4-week post-natal telephone follow-up will be.intervention group will receive a CD and booklet . control group will receive usual care by researcher in 34,35,36 weeks gestation age and before discharge hospital،the researcher will be present in the hospital and then every week to 4-week post-natal telephone follow-up will be. All participants of the questionnaire maternal role attainment, parenting sense of competence, general impression of infant temperament will fill 4 weeks after delivery . At the end of study, control group will be given booklet.
