1-Objectives: The aim of the study is to evaluate the effect of educational intervention based on Health Belief Model in creating AIDS prevention behaviors in female high school students.
2-Design: This experimental and single-blinded study will be done on 64 female students on the third year in Aq-Qala high school.
3-Setting and conduct: Two high schools will be selected from rural and two high schools will be selected from urban and will be divided into experimental and control group through simple random sampling. Two classes from each school will be selected randomly, so that 32 and 32 students will be considered as experimental and control group respectively.
4-Participants including major eligibility criteria: Criteria are studying at the third year in high school.
5-Intervention: The intervention in experimental high school consisted of holding the 1 training session for two hours by Public health expert.
6- Main outcome measures: After 4 weeks, information's students will be compared with before the intervention in Knowledge, perceived susceptibility, perceived severity, perceived benefits and perceived barriers scopes, by using a reliable and valid questionnaire that was developed based on Health belief model.
