This study was performed with the aim of considering the effect of educational intervention based on the Theory of Planned Behavior on AIDS prevention skills in nursing and midwifery students.
This study was a randomized controlled trial conducted on 104 students of nursing and midwifery of Guilan University of Medical Sciences, selected among Rasht and Langerud faculties of nursing and midwifery. The students were randomly assigned in intervention and control groups (each group n=52). ُُstandard questionnaire included sections of demographic characteristics, knowledge, the Theory of Planned Behavior constructs and skills that were distributed among the students. The data were collected from the two groups, and the educational intervention was performed based on, the Theory of Planned Behavior in the intervention group. The conditions of entry to the study, the first year of nursing and midwifery students Informed consent from them is to cooperate in research, exclusion criteria The students' absence is even in a training session.
