This study investigated the Effects of emotional intelligence training on quality of life in patients with hemodialysis in 2014 for 48 hemodialysis patients referred to the Khatam Anbya hospital of Iranshahr city. The main criterion for exclusion is no previous training in emotional intelligence and hemodynamic problems in most training sessions are one of the main criteria for exclusion. Sample size of 24 patients in the experimental group and the control group is 24 people. After obtaining informed consent from patients willing to participate in research, Patients in both groups completed the form personal information, Saybrya Shrink emotional intelligence questionnaire and the quality of life in hemodialysis patients questionnaire. The control group received only teaching hospital routine, next experimental group besides teaching hospital routine, Emotional intelligence skills in 6 sessions of 30 minutes to receive next Emotional intelligence and quality of life questionnaire again at 6 weeks and 12 weeks after training completed by patients. Finally The data are analyzed by descriptive and analytic statistics.

Inclusion Criteria: Consent to cooperate; The age range of 18-55 years; History of hemodialysis for at least 3 months; Being on the list of weekly dialysis; Dialysis three times a week for 3-4 hours; No previous training in emotional intelligence; No fever, thrombosis and bleeding. Exclusion Criteria: Unwillingness to continue cooperation; Hemodynamic problems in most of training sessions.
