Comparative evaluation of anesthetic efficacy of inferior alveolar nerve block plus buccal or lingual infiltration with articaine in painful mandibular molars with irreversible pulpitis
Goal : To choose the best anesthetic administration technique for mandibular molars diagnosed with irreversible pulpitis
Study Design : Randomized , single blind clinical trial
Inclusion Criteria :Patients with first and second mandibular molars diagnosed with Symptomatic Irreversible Pulpitis
Exclusion Criteria : patients that have used sedatives in the last 12 hours,pregnancy,allergies
sample size :60
study intervention : Group 1: Inferior Alveolar nerve block anesthesia for first molar
Group 2 : Inferior Alveolar nerve block plus buccal infiltration for first molar
Group 3 : Inferior Alveolar nerve block plus lingual infiltration for first molar
Group 4: Inferior Alveolar nerve block anesthesia for second molar
Group 5 : Inferior Alveolar nerve block plus buccal infiltration for second molar
Group 6 : Inferior Alveolar nerve block plus lingual infiltration for second molar
Intervention time : before access cavity preparation
Outcomes Studied : level of pain on a visual analogue scale

Exclusion criteria: Patients with systemic Diseases , Patients that have used any form of sedatives in the past 12 hours , Patients that have allergies to anesthetics or sulfites, Pregnancy , Patients that are unable to give Informed Consent , Patients with Periapical Lesions.
Inclusion criteria :Patients between the ages of 18 to 60 , Patients with first and second mandibular molars diagnosed with Symptomatic Irreversible Pulpitis
