Objectives: This study has been carried out with the aim of evaluating the effect of education on Lazarus and Folkman interactive model of stress on coping skills of Jiroft City Health care workers.
Design: Current study is an intervention and quasi Experimental study.
Setting and conduct: Current study has been done with census method on eighty-four staffs of Jiroft City Health care workers.
Inclusion criteria: the participants were Administrator or administrative and technical staff; completing the questionnaire during the pretest and posttest; and participating in all education sessions for their entry into the study.
Exclusion criteria: the participants who did not have participate to all educational sessions were excluded from study.
Intervention: Intervention was carried out within eight-ninety minutes educational sessions with lecture, group discussion and role playing.
main outcome measures: Primary outcomes of this study was Confrontive Coping, Distancing, Self –Controlling, Seeking Social Support, Accepting Responsibility, Escape-Avoidance, Painful Problem Solving and Positive Reappraisal.
