The Effect of E-learning of Islamic Culture and Civilization on Student’s Knowledge, Attitude and Satisfaction in Tehran University of Medical Sciences
In this quasi- experimental study, our aim is to examine the effect of virtual and traditional method of teaching on participants’ knowledge, attitudes and satisfaction. Two schools among the schools which have Islamic Culture and Civilization course in current semester would be selected randomly. But all the research cases which are in this group are reachable and it is a convenience sampling .The participants will be 115 undergraduate students enrolled in Islamic Culture and Civilization course at Tehran University of Medical Sciences . All of them participated in this research voluntarily. Inclusion criteria; having consent to participate in research, exclusion criteria: dissatisfaction of participant for further cooperation. Students in virtual classes would study 16 consequents E-content which will be presented in NAMAD (http//namad.tums.ac.ir), the official learning management system (LMS) of Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Meanwhile in traditional method, 16 sessions would be held the students received traditional education; with 2-h lectures every week. The content which is presented in both groups is the same. The final exam will be the tool to measure any changes in both groups’ knowledge while a questionnaire to evaluate each participant’s attitude and satisfaction would be presented too.

In the experimental group of students using the system virtual Tehran University of Medical Sciences at http: / namad.tums.ac.ir/, for 16 sessions will be given.
