Background & objective : the aim of this study is evaluating the effect of learning ergonomic principles of patient transferring on implementing these methods in nursing staff. Materials and methods: This study is clinical trial with one group before and after intervention which its research community will be all khatam ol anbia hospital nurses. In this study 20 nurses will be selected objectively. Inclusion criteria: written consent to participate voluntarily in research; full-time nurses having at least one year of employment; Having physical and mental health; having no participation in courses related to the subject. Exclusion criteria: not being interested to continue in the study; Having any serious health problem will prevent from continuing in the research. Intervention: Intervention will be includes training three meeting of 90-minute patient handling from the bed to the wheelchair and vice versa (method standard patient) with using the gate belt for the nursing staff. Main outcome: after 3 meeting of 90 minutes intervention the PTAI staff score will be calculated again and finaly data will be analyzed by using paired T test.
