Comparing the Effects of Facilitatory and Inhibitory Kinesiotaping of Gastrocnemius Muscle on Functional Test Performance in Subjects with Multiple Sclerosis: a single blinded Randomized Trial
Balance deficiency is a common problem in patients with Multiple Sclerosis. Kinesiotaping is a physiotherapy method could increase the balance. There is two taping method including inhibitory and facilitatory which may have different effects. Twenty patients with Multiple Sclerosis and independent walking ability and exclusion criteria including orthopedic problems effecting the walking and drugs on balance will randomly assigned to two groups inhibitory and faciitatory. Balance will be measured before and after 30 minutes kinesiotaping by timed and go and functional reach.

Inclusion/Exclusion criteria
Inclusion: clinical diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis by neurologist; walking independently with or without assisstive device; age between18 to 50 years old.
Exclusion criteria: drugs cause balance problem like sedative and psychotropic drugs; sensory impairment; cognitive problem; orthopedic or rheumatologic disease; cardiac problems; malignancy; history of use of KT; visual or hearing loss.
