(1) Objectives: investigating the impact of educational intervention on promotion of preventive behaviors of metabolic syndrome in premenopausal women in Gachsaran. (2) Design: This study has an intervention type. The sample consists of 130 people which is divided into two groups of 65 people.(3) Setting and conduct: The data is accumulated in field research method and accumulating tools included the health belief pattern questionnaire which is created by researcher, 24-hour dietary recall questionnaire for 3 days and the check list of daily records of duration and intensity of physical activity. Type of intervention is in 3 stages. In first stage both groups are provided with questionnaires and check list and in second stage we are holding educational 4 sessions in one week interval for subject group and in third stage after 2 months the questionnaires and check list would be completed for both group again. (4) Participants including major eligibility criteria, Inclusion criteria: over 40 years women, no menopause, with no history of disease associated with menopause, without consumption of any related drugs to this disease, willingness to corporate, complete contribution in educational sessions. Major Exclusion criteria: lack of input criteria. (5) Intervention: training Intervention. (6) The main outcome measures: knowledge and believes of premenopausal women who their age is above 40 years about preventive behaviors of metabolic syndrome, dietary patterns and physical activities of preventive of metabolic syndrome .
