This study is a blind randomized clinical trial to compare the antimicrobial effect of thyme spray and Decosept solution on microbial load of nurses hand. After obtaining permission from the university ethics committee, 72 nurses from various units of a teaching hospital- who had at least 6 months experience in hospitals- will be chosen. Of each units 6 randomly selected nurses in different shifts and then the samples will be divided into two groups with each other. After obtaining consent from participants, from each group initially a primary culture in accordance with standard Pr EN TBS is obtained. For the preservation of the names of participants in each of the samples will be assigned a number. Then the first group, thyme spray is given and asked them to rub their hands enough until moisture is removed, without washing. After ten minutes, another sample is taken from them. The second group has done the same thing, except that instead of Decosept used thyme spray.
