Comparison assessment about the effect of education about HPV and the vaccine on the knowledge and attitudes of healthcare workers and nursing students of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences
This study aim to determine the effect of education about HPV virus and its vaccine on Knowledge and attitude of women health care staffs and girl nursing students of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences
Objectives:
1- Comparison means score of knowledge pre- post and 3 months after intervention between two groups.
2- Comparison means score of attitude pre- post and 3 months after intervention between two groups.
3- Comparison means difference score of knowledge pre- post, and 3 months after intervention between two groups.
4- Comparison means difference score of attitude pre- post, and 3 months after intervention between two groups
5- Determine correlation means of knowledge and attitude scores pre- post, and 3 months after intervention between two groups
6- Determine regression coefficient of knowledge scores and demographic characteristics
7- Determine regression coefficient of attitude scores and demographic characteristics
Outcome variables: Knowledge and attitude of participants
Inclusion criteria:
• Girl
• Nursing student in Shiraz University of Medical Sciences
• Women health care Staffs of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences
• Willingness to participate in the study
Exclusion criteria:
• Dose not response to the questionnaire in any stage of study
Method:
Design: Semi Experimental
Participants: Participants include 450 of Women health care staffs of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences and girl nursing students of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. They will be selected by convenience sampling method. Then, they were randomly assigned to either the intervention or control group.
Intervention: The investigator led the one hour class for 2 sessions. After intervention and 3 months later, the participants of both groups will complete the questionnaire. Then, data will analyze with SPSS software.

Inclusion criteria: girl nursing student of Shiraz nursing college and health care personnel work in one of the health centers in the Shiraz city would like to participate in this study.
Exclusion criteria: unwillingness or inability to participate in the study completed questionnaires after three months.

In intervention group two educational sessions will be done.each session 60 minutes duration.and with workshop method educated about HPV virus,pathogenecity,high risk group,complication and health problem,virus vaccine,advantage and disadvantage of HPV vaccine
