Effect of education about andropause health on level of the knowledge and attitude of men referring to theٍ Education and training retirement center of Shiraz
The purpose of this quasi-experimental study will evaluate the effect of education about andropause on knowledge and attitudes of men referred to retirement center in Shiraz. Inclusion criteria included agreement to participation in the study; and exclusion criteria included who had history of participation in educational classes about andropause; missed more than one session of classes and unwillingness to participate in the study. Participants (n=80) are selected by simple sampling method and assigned randomly into two groups: intervention and control groups (40 persons in control group and 40 persons in intervention group). Educational intervention will perform as Presentations, group discussion, questions and answers during four sessions, one session per week and each session 60 minutes and will receive the booklet. The control group will receive the booklet after experiment. Data will collect by a researcher made questionnaire (including demographic data and determination of knowledge and attitude and at three times questionnaire will complete in both groups: prior to the intervention, immediately and 1 month after the intervention. Expected outcomes after intervention was that mean score of knowledge and attitude in the intervention group compared to control group show a significant difference
