The aim of this study was comparison between two methods of training role play and lecturing on health volunteer’s knowledge in selected comprehensive health center in Shiraz.
Design
In this research, 76 eligible health volunteers who are presence of active volunteers in the health program were chosen purposefully and a code was allocated to each one of them. Then, Participants were randomly divided into two control and intervention groups.
Settings and conduct
This is a one-blind clinical trial that will be carried out in Shiraz's comprehensive health centers so that there will be 3 role-playing sessions for the intervention group and there will be no intervention for the control group.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria for this study are the presence of active volunteers in the health program؛ the exclusion criteria for this study, the lack of participation in the post-test, non-participation in more than one session.
Intervention groups
For the intervention group, 3 sessions will be held in Role Playing. The control group will receive no intervention.

The sampling method is a two-stage cluster type. According to the list of all comprehensive health centers, we select the four centers by lottery and then randomly draw all the volunteers of the two centers as a role group and the whole Volunteers from two other centers will be selected as a lecture group and will be included in the study.
