Purpose: The purpose of this study will evaluate the effect of education package on knowledge and attitude of mothers of preschool children towards sexual education. Sample volume: A total of 78 mother. Design: This quasi-experimental study will conduct in the city Tehran in 2016 (Experimental group =39, Control group =39). The participants are 78 mothers of preschool children (girl or boy 6-3 age) referring to the two health clinics in Tehran city. Using simple random sampling method; two health clinics will divide into experimental and control groups. Inclusion criteria: The boy or girl mothers of children 6-3 years Inclusion criteria: have at least read and write Literacy؛ Being of Iranian origin؛ Ability to speak the Persian language؛ lack of education in the fields of psychology, education medical and paramedical (nurse-midwife). Exclusion criteria: Lack of participation in a session of classes in experimental groups؛ something bad happening for the participant during implementation of the project؛ before participation in courses such as sex education of children.
Intervention: The experimental group will receive the sexual education package (booklet and showing educational film). Educational intervention will perform as Presentations, group discussion, questions and answers during four sessions, one session per week and each session 90 minutes and will receive the booklet. The participants will arrange in groups of 10 members. The control group will receive the booklet after experiment. Data will collect by a researcher made questionnaire (including demographic data and determination of knowledge and attitude) and at three times questionnaire will complete in both groups: prior to the intervention, 4 weeks and 8 weeks after the intervention. The main outcome variables: Knowledge and attitude towards sexual education of preschool children mothers
