The effect of a theory centered, educational intervention on depression among female senior high school students in Hamadan : a web-based educational program
Objectives:The aim of this study is to evaluate the benefits of a self-directed Internet intervention for depression in high school girls in Hamadan (west of Iran).
Design:Semi experimental
Setting and conduct: One hundred and twenty four girls, aged 15 and 18 years, that have diagnosed minor depression in descriptive phase of this study, were allocated to undertake either internet based education or their usual curriculum (62 intervention groups, 62 control group).
Intervention: Internet based education impact on depressive symptoms; risk of depression, attribution style, depression literacy and attitudes toward depression was examined . Intervention will deliver in January 2017.
Participants including major eligibility criteria: If students or parents' dissatisfied at every stage of the study will be withdrawn.
main outcome measures variables: After 2 months, reduction in depressive symptoms will be compared in groups.

Main exclusion criteria: Major Depressive Disorder;current therapy for depression; A history of being treated with Behavioral Therapy ;diagnosis of schizophrenia (current or past) or bipolar disorder; A current serious medical illness that causes; significant disability or dysfunction;A significant reading impairment;a significant reading impairment;developmental disabilities
