Objective: this study is designed for Efficacy of Positive Parenting program on Improving Children’s Behavioral Problems.
Research design: a randomized, clinical trial.
Inclusion criteria: single child; the target child was between 2 and 6 years of age (preschool age); at least 5 grades education in mother; family was interested in participation in this intervention.
Exclusion criteria: known illness leading to hospitalization parents; occurrence of any neurological disorder; any known medical condition; extreme aggression; mental retardation; psychosis, bipolar I disorder is all of the above assessment is based on clinical suspicion parents. At first the program will be explained to mothers and informed consent be obtained. In the experimental group positive parenting program 120 minute sessions for four weeks and three sessions of 15-30 minutes for the phone call will be held for three weeks. Questionnaires at baseline and 2 months after the end of the full study will be filled.
