Compare the effect of two method of educational intervention, workshop and multimedia, on knowledge, attitude and self report practice of medical students toward Isolation Precautions
Main purpose: The study is a randomized control trial of pre-post design and main purpose of the study is to compare the effectiveness of two methods of educational interventions, workshop and CD (multimedia) on knowledge, attitude and self-report practice among interns of Bushehr University of Medical Sciences toward isolation precautions during two years (1394 and 1395).
The target population is 120 interns of Bushehr University of Medical Sciences during two years that are randomly divided (block randomization) into two groups of educational interventions consisted of workshop and CD (multimedia) groups will receive training intervention through workshop and training intervention through CD (multimedia).
Inclusion criteria: 120 Interns of Boushehr University of Medical Sciences during two years (1394 and 1395).
Exclusion criteria: Invitee students at the time of study: not willing to participate in the study.
Educational interventions implementation: we will divide interns randomly in two groups of educational interventions. The first group will receive workshop training during two day, based on CDCs new protocol and second group will receive a CD containing the same educational contents. Participants of each group will do pre-test before interventions and post-test after four months. Primary outcome is knowledge of interns before the educational interventions, attitude of interns before the educational intervention and self report practice of interns before the educational intervention which assessed two times, first time before the educational intervention and second is four months after receiving the intervention.
