The object of the present study is to determine the effect of blended education on knowledge and attitude towards organ donation. The study is parallel RCT and uses Solomon Four-Group Design. All of the freshman and sophomore students of nursing at the Islamic Azad University of Sanandaj will be entered into the study using census. Inclusion criteria: nursing students; Muslim; Interest in participating in the study; No history of organ donation with family or relatives; No employment of the spouse or parents of the participants in the health care system; No participation in similar studies. Exclusion criteria: No interest in continuing research. The sample size was 94. In this study, blended education will be taught by Lecture, interactive scenario-based training, and e-learning. At the beginning of the session, one of the experts will explicate the theoretical backgrounds of organ donation. Each group will be divided into two smaller groups and they will be given their scenarios. One person will be selected as the secretary of the group. After an interaction among members, their views will be noted down and he will present the obtained results. The researcher will compare the general results with the accepted perspectives. Moreover, Text, image, video and other multimedia contents related to organ donation will be sent to students through the social network, telegram, daily. After two weeks the post-test will be taken.

Description
Intervention 1: In group A (the first intervention group) a pretest will be taken by using a questionnaire to evaluate the knowledge and attitude of students about organ donation. Then, blended education will be conducted in a workshop through lecture and interactive scenario-based training. The training session will be held in 2 morning and afternoon parts through the workshop format. At the beginning of the session, the researcher and one of the experts in the field will clarify the significance of organ donation and will also state the theoretical principles of organ donation (issues related to brain death, organ donation card, factors determining the waiting period for organ donation, underlying disease that will prevent organ donation, age of the donor, appearance of the donor after organ donation, different religions’ point of view regarding organ donation, transfer and withdrawal fees related to organ donation, organs and tissue which can be donated, issues related to rejection of organ donation and etc. Each group will be divided into smaller groups and scenarios will be presented to them. In each group, one person will be selected as the secretary of the group. After an interaction among members, their views will be noted down and he or she will present the obtained results. Finally, the researcher and the expert will compare the obtained results with commonly accepted viewpoints. And finally obtained will provide a general conclusion. Text, image, video and other multimedia contents related to organ donation will be sent to students through the social network telegram daily. After 2 weeks of workshops, the knowledge and attitudes of the students will be evaluated using the post-test.
