Parent Management Training (PMT), is an evidence-based child rearing program which is used for children with behavioral problems. PMT is based on social learning theory and parents can be trained by an educated therapist in 8 weekly sessions. As using internet is currently increasing, many people are using Internet for doing interventions
Main outcome: This study aims to compare the effectiveness of Internet-based PMT and face-to-face PMT and its effects on children's behavioral problems and also on parent child interaction.
Design: Each group consist of 15 participate and will be similar in both groups in having the behavioral problems. . Parents will fill pre-test and post-test questionnaires and their improvement will be compared.
Setting and conduct: The intervention group will receive PMT on the Internet and the control group will receive PMT in person. Intervention will take place in eight sessions and each session once a week on each group.
Participants including major eligibility criteria: Participants in the groups are parents whose children aged 2 to 12 are having behavioral problems.
Intervention: Interventions include Internet-based PMT and face to face PMT .
The main outcome variables include childhood behavioral problems.
