(1) Objective: To compare the effect of two methods of pain management- workshop and virtual education- on knowledge, attitude and self-efficacy of pediatric nurses about pain management in children. (2) Design: A quasi-experimental study consisting of three groups (training workshop method of pain management, pain management through virtual education and control group). (3) How to do: In this study, 90 nurses working in children ward will participate. (4) Inclusion criteria: having at least associate degree in nursing; at least six months work experience in the field of children nursing; having easy access to computer and the Internet; registering in continuing education system. Exclusion criterion: Participate in any training course in the field of pediatric pain management. (5) Interventions: Participants in workshop group will participate in a 4-hour, one-day workshop. Participants in virtual education group will receive their education through audio and video files and control group won’t receive any education. (6) Main outcomes: knowledge, attitude and self-efficacy about pain management in children.
