This study is a randomized control trial to determine the effects of Spiritual-Religious care on depression intensity in women with multiple sclerosis. All of the multiple sclerosis female patients, who were referred to Iran MS associations, were our statistical research community. Of them, 70 patients were selected based on inclusion criteria included: being Muslim, not participated in previous training programs about Spiritual-Religious care and Spiritual counseling in Last three months, Patients suffering from moderate level of disease according to disability intensity and symptoms and they were randomly divided into two experimental and control groups using table of random numbers. Religious spiritual care sessions were held according to Richard Burgin pattern for the intervention group in the form of group education, in seven sessions. Depression intensity was the main outcome and therefore patients filled oud Beck Depression Inventory before and after the intervention.

Inclusion/Exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Multiple sclerosis confirmed by a neurologist; Consent to participate in research and having cooperation; not participated in previous training programs about Spiritual-Religious care and Spiritual counseling in Last three months; Patients suffering from moderate level of disease according to disability intensity and symptoms; Ability to communicate effectively with researcher; ability to handle meetings and prepared to respond to questions physically and mentally; Minimum 20 and maximum 45 years old; having the ability to read and write and be able to speak Persian; be Muslims and having disease for at least 6 months.
Exclusion criteria: withdrawal to continue cooperation; being in the recurrence of the disease and inability to attend in the meetings.

Intervention group: the patients in this group received religious spiritual care in 7 sessions of 45 to 60 minutes, based on Richards and Bergin model and in the form of group education including book therapy, Understanding of forgiveness and spirituality and self-observing.
