The aim of this study will be to determine the effects of teaching based on Human Care Theory on caring behavior and job involvement of nurses in Intensive Care Units (ICUs) of Shiraz Nemazee hospital 2016-2017.The study population will include all the nurses working in Shiraz Nemazee hospital ICUs. The study sample will be 116 nurses working in ICUs, which will be done through invitation and will be divided into intervention and control groups by the permutated block randomization. Inclusion criteria will be nurses who are working in ICU and do not have any intention to leave their jobs during this period. Exclusion criteria will include; no desire to continue or wanting leave their work position .Intervention group will participate in educational workshop based on Human Care Theoryfor six hours.At the end of workshop, examples and scenarios about caring behavior will be given to participants within a month, once a week. Control group will not receive any intervention. Data will be collected and recorded before, after and one month after the intervention by using "(Care-Q)-Larson" and "Job involvement" questionnaires. The expected outcome will be to improve attitudes, caring knowledge and job involvement amongst nurses concerning patient-center care.

Participants will be divided into the intervention and control groups by the permutated block randomization. Flash cards will be provided for randomization in equal numbers(AB, BA). A, it refers to intervention group and B is control group. If the participant chooses AB card, its own belongs to the intervention group and next participant will be in the control group and vice versa. This procedure will continue until the end of sampling.
