The aim of the study: the importance of using time management skills in nursing management system that promotes the principles of scientific management, performance and awareness in the field of managing their own time.
Study design: Randomized, single-blind, non-placebo controlled, single-center, phase one trial. Study population: head nurses working in teaching hospitals of Ahvaz University of Medical Sciences, a sample size of 110 patients, with 55 patients in each glroup. Patients were allocated to both groups using random numbers table.
Implementation and interventions: completing the time management questionnaires by the members of both experimental and control groups and completing the Czech list of the supervisors for each participant by the researcher before and one month after the intervention. The intervention was consisted of holding two sessions of 8-hour time Management workshops for two consecutive days.
Inclusion criteria: working as head nurse in the hospital with at least 1 year experience in this position; having a bachelor's degree or higher; not having participated in a time management workshop during last year; the desire and consent to participate in research.
Intervention time: one month.
The primary outcome of this study will be performance of head nurses.
The Secondary outcome of this study will be time management skills.
