Protocol summary

Summary
With the spread of narcotics in human societies, it is important to consideration to the symptoms and conditions of addicted people and to treat these symptoms in health centers. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of ondansetron on the symptoms of drug metabolism syndrome and the need for fentanyl in generalized addicts in a double-blinded study. Entry requirements include the age of the patient aged between 19-70 years and addicted to opium compounds and the exclusion criteria including the use of several opiate drugs simultaneously or prolonged the patient's operation or the seizure and maintenance of the patient with medication other than the protocol (fentanyl) to be selected. Patients in the department who have chosen the conditions for entering the study and after giving a complete and accurate description to the patient and taking pictures in a group, and to each group of these patients, different doses of andestroin include Group A: mg 4 and Group B: 8 mg and Group C: Placebo containing 2 ml of distilled water, injected intravenously 15 minutes prior to anesthesia. After the patient enters the operating room, the registered form for the signs of withdrawal is checked, and before the anesthesia process, vital signs and biochemical parameters are recorded.

Description
Biography of included patients is registered and distributed in one of the study groups, and to each group of these patients, different doses of 4 mg and 8 mg of andestron are injected intravenously 15 minutes before anesthesia.
