This is a quasi-experimental study with the aim of investigating the effect of non-pharmacological approach training program on the level of perception, knowledge, attitude and practice of nurses who work in intensive care units in the field of physical restraints in Salah al-Din Ayoubi Hospital in Baneh, Iran, before and after intervention will done. After obtaining permission from the Committee of Ethics of Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences and entering the study environment, all nurses working in intensive care units will be selected in a census method. There are currently thirty nurse work in these units. Entry criteria include: Bachelor's degree and above, at least one year of work experience and exit criteria including: not attending the training session, will not be willing to continue cooperation. At first, the questionnaire of demographic information, perception, knowledge, attitude and practice by nurses will be completed and analyzed. The next step is two sessions in two consecutive days and each session for two hours, the nurses will be trained on physical restraints, complications, ethical and legal issues, and alternative methods, after completing the training two weeks later the questionnaires will be distributed and completed again and the results will be compared with the stage before the training.
