This quasi-experimental will be done with students who randomly will be divided into two groups: control (39 = n) and test (39 = n). The purpose of this study was to compare the knowledge score of nursing students and compare the patients' satisfaction score with the performance of nursing students in patient education. Students will be included in the second semester with the benchmark for patient education. Students who remove the syllabus from the patient's training process will be excluded.
To prevent data contamination, at first the training will be done in the control group and then in the experimental group. Teaching method in the control group will be common method in college, so in theoretical part will be lectures and questions and answers and in practical part will be oral presentation patient education program in the classroom, School of Nursing and Midwifery. Teaching method in theoretical part in experimental group will be similar to the control group and in practical part will be writing and role playing scenario. The control and experimental groups will complete demographic questionnaire before the intervention and knowledge questionnaire after the intervention(final) and will deliver the researcher. Next semester, students will train to patients in nursing training adults/ seniors(1) and then patients will complete patient satisfaction scale of patient education performance. The number of patient samples per patient is two nursing student. The patients inclusion criteria is having the ability to answer the questions of the questionnaire and to be admitted to the internal and surgical sections of the students' internship.
