The aim of this study was to determine the satisfaction and recovery rate of patients with stutter using tele-speech therapy interventions in Jahrom 2017.
Design
This study is an interventional study that will be conducted descriptively-analytically.
Settings and conduct
The severity of stutter scores before and after the intervention is determined by the Stuttering Severity Instrument-Fourth Edition (SSI-4). Patients' satisfaction from tele-speech therapy is assessed through a questionnaire whose validity has been approved by experts.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
The inclusion criteria are being older than 14 years, and patient consent to participate in the study. Exclusion criteria is to have a stuttering frequency less than 2% of syllables stuttered.
Intervention groups
Participants will visit the rehabilitation centers using video conferencing via Skype software by a tele-Speech Therapist.
Main outcome variables
The results of stuttering severity scores before and after interventional therapy as well as the questionnaire data are entered into SPSS 19 and analyzed.

Inclusion criteria:
Inclusion criteria: Patients older than 14 years;
admitting to the relevant rehabilitation centers for the treatment of stutter disorder;
patient consent to participate in the study.
Exclusion criteria:
Patients younger than 14 years;
a stuttering frequency less than 2% of syllables stuttered;
lack of consent to participate in the study;
major illness or accompanying disorders that necessitate patient referral;
previous treatment of speech restructuring over the past 6 months.
