The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness and comparisons of three methods of training, prevention and use of methamphetamine "Shishe" (training, sending short messages and delivery of training manual) on knowledge, attitude, and performance toward Shishe in staff of shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences in Yazd.

Design

In order to evaluate the research aims, 210 employees were selected by multistage cluster sampling and related experts have been used to train the content of the interventions. To train these courses, two training sessions were held each in a week for a group of 105 people. Before and after the training sessions, pre-test and post-test were taken. Then, 3 months after training, a retrospective test was taken. At the same time, the groups were divided into three groups of 70 members; the first group was taught training by SMS; the second group was taught training through the CD; and the third group was taught training by manual training; finally, after three months of training in these three ways, the final post-test was taken.

In order to evaluate the research aims, 210 staff of 6 assistance were selected by multistage cluster sampling and related experts have been used to train the content of the interventions. A randomized method is a simple cluster that is to blind by the random number table. In this study, participants, researchers, data collection responsibilities and those who evaluate the outcomes are kept blind.

Inclusion criteria: Being between 18 and 64 years old
Being staff of Yazd University of Medical Sciences
Being participated in training classes
Exclusion criteria: Being less than 18 and more than 64 years old
Not being staff of Yazd University of Medical Sciences

Intervention groups
