Quasi-experimental, interventional and control groups with pre-test and post-test, purpose-based and accessible sampling, non-blind, randomized

Sessions were conducted at two urban tissue and spice health centers using data projector and discussion.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Experience at least one kind of self-abuse, no physical, psychological or cognitive problem
Intervention groups
Holding 5 60-minute sessions of abuse education towards the elderly based on the structures of the BASNEF model for an active member in the care of the elderly in the intervention group. The control group did not receive intervention.

Description
Intervention group: 5 sessions of 60-minute training on abuse of the elderly in the family based on the structures of the BASNEF model (belief, attitude, SUBJECTIVE norms, enabling factors) for an active member of the elderly or abusive person's care. In order to influence the attitude and belief in the educational sessions, the clips of abuse of the elderly were broadcast at the meetings. To influence the abstract softness, the softwares that were willing to attend the training sessions were invited. In order to influence the factors contributing to the information was provided to people and social worker at the last session and seniors were introduced to the conditions well-being.
