The effect of nursing handover education by SBAR Technique on Knowledge, attitude and performance of intensive cardiac care unite nurses of Hospitals affiliated to Jahrom University of Medical Sciences
The effect of shifts delivery training on the knowledge, attitude and practice of nurses in cardiac care units is by SBAR.
Design
In this quasi-experimental clinical trial study, 53 nurses working in cardiac care units will be included in the census method (non-random).
Settings and conduct
At first, the goals of the project were explained, and informed consent was made. Then, before the intervention, the nurses completed the knowledge and attitude questionnaires of shift delivery with the method of SBAR and their performance was observed for one week. The intervention included a one-day workshop (8am to 4:30 pm) for three consecutive days in order to provide all nurses with a lecture, group discussion, screening and scenario. Immediately and one month after the intervention, the knowledge and attitude questionnaires were completed by nurses and their performance was observed one month after the intervention.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria:Having at least a bachelor's degree or a master's degree in nursing; Having a willingness to participate in the study: Having at least six years of work experience in the CCU; Lack of participation in workshops related to the topic of training in the past 6 months; No change in the section of nurses studied during the study period؛ Exclusion criteria:Change their section; Lack of participation in the workshop; Unwillingness to cooperate and discontinue participation in the research.
Intervention groups
includes 53 nurses working in the cardiac intensive care unit.
Main outcome variables
The expected outcome of this study is the changes in knowledge , Attitude and performance of nurses about delivery of shifts by SBAR.

Description
Intervention group: All nurses working in CCU units of Peymaniyeh and Motahari teaching hospitals in Jahrom are invited to participate in a one-day workshop (8 am to 4.30 pm) in PowerPoint, a training video for three consecutive days (in order to create All nurses participate in the event. Subsequently, nurses will be divided into smaller groups of five and six people and will participate in the practical training workshop. The practice workshop will provide five scenarios for each group to answer questions. At the end, the participants will be able to perform the roles of delivering the nurse shift to the nurse and contact the physician to express the patient's condition, which will be implemented by a researcher-made SCAR and non-SAR model by two nurses
