Design
The sample size in this study was 80 people who were selected through available sampling method at first and then divided into control and test groups randomly.
Settings and conduct
patients and their families referred to transplantation center of Namazi hospital in Shiraz
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
age 18-60, ability to read, not hearing impaired, not having visual, speech and mental impairment and not having other chronic diseases except kidney transplant
No receiving certified training about transplantation.
Intervention groups
the intervention group received individual face to face training and give some pamphlets in three sessions. the control group didn't receive intervention.

Description
Intervention group: The families of intervention group had received individual face to face education and give them some educational guide paper in three sessions. After Three months the self-efficiency of patients of group was measured.
