Design
This study included two groups of control and treatment group, each of which consisted of 21 samples of nurses.
Settings and conduct
In this study, all nurses working in Emergency department of Taleghani and Imam Reza hospitals, who have been working at emergency services for at least three months, are entered into the study after obtaining informed consent. Then, the questionnaire on the violence and the emotional intelligence questionnaire are completed by the volunteers. Then, individuals with low or moderate emotional intelligence and high violence are selected and randomly assigned to the experimental and control groups by random number table.
The experimental group is placed under 8 sessions of emotional intelligence training and again the emotional intelligence questionnaire is completed by them to examine the impact of the training. Three months after the completion of the training, the questionnaire on violence was completed by both the experimental and control groups and the results will be collected and evaluated before and after the end of the study.
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Nurses working in emergency department of Taleghani Hospital and Imam Reza Hospital with a minimum of three months experience
Intervention groups
examination group: Twelve sessions will receive emotional intelligence training in the Bar-On style
Control group: does not receive training

Reduction of violence against nurses working in Taleghani and Imam Reza hospitals by emotional intelligence training psychotherapy intervention
