Comparison of effects of prevention of hepatitis B education by attendance and non attendance on knowledge and attitude of Afghan students of International University of Imam Khomeini.
Design
Educational experiment with 4 intervention groups and without control group, is community-based and the sampling method is convenience. The sample size is 35 in each group regarding the loss.
Settings and conduct
The study field is Imam Khomeini International University of Qazvin city. The content used in the study is prevention hepatitis B education by attendance and non attendance. Finally, the effect of education on knowledge and attitudes of students is measured by a questionnaire .
Participants/Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria:
Afghan students studying at university.
Intervention groups
Intervention group 1:There are 2 sessions of attendance education about prevention of hepatitis B and questionnaire should be filled in 3 steps, before the education, immediately after the education and a month after the education.
Intervention group 2: There are 2 sessions of attendance education about prevention of hepatitis B and questionnaire should be filled in 2 steps, immediately after the education and a month after the education.
Intervention group 3: There are 2 sessions of non-attendance education about prevention of hepatitis B in the form of giving CDs. The questionnaire should be filled in the 3 steps, before the education, immediately after the education and a month after education.
Intervention group 4: There are 2 sessions of non-attendance education about prevention of hepatitis B in the form of giving CDs. The questionnaire should be filled in the 2 steps, immediately after the education and a month after education.
